The Gap have secured a comfortable 8-0 win against Western Pride at Briggs Road Sporting Complex on Sunday afternoon. as they keep pace with the top of the table. 

They dominated from the outset, with Greta Bodey scoring first after brilliant play by Ruth Blackburn. They continued to press, their effort ensuring another four goals.

Pride were unable launch a comeback in the second as Gap scored another three, the highlight being a Bethany Ashton lob from outside the 18-yard box. 

The Gap host University of Queensland next weekend, while the Pride travel to the Sunshine Coast for a must-win clash

16' - GOAL FOR GAP - Ruth Blackburn weaves her way through the defence and passes it off to Greta Bodey who puts it into the goal.

18' - GOAL FOR GAP - The Gap work their way up the field and slice the ball into the box for Tabitha Doro who hits it into the top corner.
