A first-half masterclass and an Alex Janovsky hat-trick has secured Moreton Bay United a dominant 7-0 victory against Sunshine Coast at Kawana Sports Western Precinct on Sunday afternoon.

Janovsky lit up the first half with a quickfire five minute hat-trick, his second a strike from 40-yards out following a failed clearance.

Jets continued to exert pressure with another two goals added before half-time, with Donggyu Lee and Riley Campbell ensuring a stellar first-half.

The second half proved a quieter affair, with Fire having a number of close chances, but two further Jets' goals to Campbell and Christopher Swain denied Fire any hint of a comeback.

Jets host South West Queensland Thunder next weekend, eager to keep pace with the top of the table, while Fire look to turn their season around when they travel north to play FNQFC Heat.
