SWQ Thunder Women put the first dent in Eastern Suburbs Women's perfect start to the season with a hugely-impressive 5-2 win at Heath Park on Tuesday.

The visitors led 2-0 after just five minutes and never looked back despite Easts pulling two back either side of half-time.

Louise Rolfe handed Thunder a dream start in their bid for a second win of the season, notching two quickfire goals to stun the home side.

Despite losing goalkeeper Elizabeth Hollitt to sickness during the warmup, Thunder continued their lightning start with a third through Sarah Sheridan in the 13th minute.

Melanie Lloyd's second-half double sealed a comfortable victory as Anthony Bigby's side made it two wins from four ahead of this weekend's visit from Souths United Women.

Easts will aim to rediscover their early-season form at home to fifth-placed Gold Coast City Women on Sunday evening.
