Brisbane City have kept pace with the top four after an absorbing 3-2 win over Moreton Bay United at Wolter Park on Saturday night.

The home side started brightest but went behind, after Carter Glockner took full advantage of some poor defensive awareness to score the opening goal just ten minutes in.

The Jets bombarded the goal in the rest of the first half but couldn’t find their reward, being stopped multiple times by City keeper Bon Scott.

Moreton Bay’s equalised in the second half, with a goal from Riley Campbell, but City hit them with a sucker punch, as two goals in two minutes – from Mitchell Hore and Simon Biel – swung the match back in their favour.

The Jets got one back in injury time through Riley Campbell’s second of the game, but it would prove to be only a consolation.

The win sees Brisbane City just one point outside the top four, overtaking Moreton Bay who are just one point behind.
