Debutant Bianca Wescombe struck a double as Peninsula Power Women notched just their second win of the season in a solid 3-0 win over Redlands United Women at A.J. Kelly Park.

The hosts struck all three goals in the second half with Morgan Schoener opening accounts after the hour with her second goal of the campaign before substitute Wescombe iced the result with an influential turn from the bench.

Power's win marks a league double over Redlands and the second time they have held the bottom-of-the-table club scoreless this season.

The result ends an eight match losing streak for Power and now moves them ahead of Sunshine Coast FC Women to ninth in the league standings.

Redlands remain without a competition point and now fall seven points behind in the race to avoid the wooden spoon in their maiden PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Women’s season.
