Mid-season Moreton Bay United recruit Bon Scott is relishing his return to PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues after trialling with high profile English clubs.

The 18-year-old shot-stopper has joined Jets as cover for injured goalkeeper Matthew Stein, playing the last three matches for the defending Champions.

Previously with Western Pride, Scott return to the Sunshine State follows a ive month stint in England where he trained with English Premier League outfits Crystal Palace and Watford.

Despite the less heralded surrounds of Australia’s national second tier, Scott said he was enjoying the regular game time his current ‘match-to-match’ deal with the Jets has offered in recent weeks.

“It’s great to be back out there. I’m loving it, absolutely loving it," Scott explained.

Scott, who was called up to the Young Socceroos training squad last year while with Pride before linking with Newcastle Jets Youth, plans to return to overseas once he completes his current short-term stint with an eye to securing a professional contract.

However, he said he was impressed by the ever-increasing standard of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues in Queensland.

“Every year the competition is stepping up,” he enthused.

“It’s getting more professional, since its inception to now - even last season to now.”

“Most clubs are looking to promote young players and I think that's the right thing to do.”

The only thing missing at the moment is a consistent return of results for Jets, however Scott expects his new teammates to recapture their momentum in coming weeks as they look to become the first club to defend a PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland title.

“Last week was just one of those days. I’ve analysed that game and moved on. I cannot do anything about that now,” he explained of the team’s last start 4-1 defeat at the hands of Brisbane Roar Youth.

“I think our performances have been there, we just need a few goals to turn things around.”

A win for Jets against Redlands will move the club to within two points of a return to the top four and still within reach of reeling in league-leaders FNQ Heat before season’s end.
