Only three games but still plenty of goals on offer during the weekend’s PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues catch-up round.

Both Gold Coast City and Western Pride let the lead slip as the two sides drew 3-3 in a see-sawing affair at Duncan McKenna Field.
City overcame an early injury to goalkeeper Shane Viitakangas to storm to a two goal advantage inside quarter of an hour courtesy of Jarrod Kyle and Rhys Saunders.
Pride mounted an unlikely fightback as Joseph Duckworth halved the deficit prior to the break, before Bonventure Thomas-Remijo and debutant Anthony Poljak struck after the hour to give the visitors the lead.
However, less than a minute later a dramatic reply from Daniel Dragicevic put paid to Pride’s hopes of recording their first win at the venue since 2013.

Redlands United have suffered a blow to their Premiership push after suffering a shock 3-1 defeat to Brisbane Roar Youth at Cleveland Showgrounds.
Young Roar battled strong winds before withstanding a late charge from Redlands to secure a second consecutive PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues victory.
The result sees Young Roar edge into seventh in the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues standings, while seeing Redlands remaining in third.

A quick-fire first-half double from Nicholas Buckley secured Brisbane City a 4-2 win over SWQ Thunder in a roller-coaster showdown at Corporate Travel Management Stadium.
Buckley delivered the decisive strikes late in the first half after the teams exchanged blows in an open first half that saw both sides pull ahead before conceding equalisers.
The flow of goals ceased in the second half as City saw out the contest to extend their unbeaten league run to seven matches and once more edge ahead of Gold Coast City into fourth place.
For Thunder, the result ends a two match winning streak and leaves them languishing in ninth on the table.
