Northern Fury FC – 1 (Matthew RICHARDS 70’)

Olympic FC struck a stunning four goal second-half blitz to dismantle Northern Fury 6-1 at International Park in Ayr.

The visitors held a comfortable two goal advantage at the half courtesy of Matthew Heath and Liam O’Bryan before turning it on in the second half to post their biggest win of the season.

The result sees Olympic become the first south-east Queensland team this season to take maximum points from their travels to the state’s tropical north following last week’s upset win over league leaders FNQ Heat.

Their third straight win lifts Olympic to a season’s best seventh place in the standings, while the winless Fury remain mired to the bottom rung of the ladder as they continue their club record losing streak.

Sunshine Coast FC – 1 (Paul MIKULA 73’)
FNQ FC Heat – 3 (Jamie CARROLL 16’ 81’, Kieran SANDERS 78’)

FNQ Heat’s Premiership push is back on track after striking two late goals to see off Sunshine Coast FC 3-1 at Kawana Sports Precinct.

Skipper Jamie Carroll netted a double for the visitors to bookend the scoring – and lift his season’s tally to a league leading 11 goals – but it was a stunning long range strike from Kieran Sanders 12 minutes from time that put paid to a determined Fire fightback.

The result ends a two match losing run for Heat and sees them re-establish a four point advantage atop the league standings, however, challengers Brisbane Strikers and Redlands United both having games in hand on the Cairns club.

Postponed Matches

Due to heavy rainfall, the following matches will be rescheduled for later in the season - Brisbane Roar FC Youth v Moreton Bay United FC, Brisbane City FC v SWQ Thunder FC, Gold Coast City FC v Western Pride FC
