What They Said

"There were opportunities that we could have levelled up and got a couple of goals but tonight just wasn't our night. We'll be playing Souths in another four or five weeks and we definitely know what we need to do. I think we can match these top teams in the coming weeks. We've certainly improved out of sight from the first round." - Ken Bosence, SWQ Thunder FC Women coach.

"I thought we did pretty well. Our coach, Gary French, was away so we knew it would be a tough game coming up here. Toowoomba are a really good team - they're tough, they're physical, they know how to play. It took us a while to break them down but I thought we did well breaking them down." - Tayler Stevens, Souths United FC Women captain.
