Brisbane City are into the top four after recovering from a goal down to claim a 1-1 draw against Moreton Bay United at Wolter Park.

Koh Satake scored four minutes after the restart to cancel out Matthew Byrne's first-half opener and extend his side's unbeaten run to six matches.

Both sides had chances to secure all three points as Mitchell Hore shot wide of an open goal while City teammate Tim Allen was needed to keep out a pair of late Jets efforts.

The point sees John Kosmina's side leapfrog Gold Coast City into fourth, while the hosts' inability to put opponents away means they have won just once in five games.

Key Moments

16’ – CHANCE FOR CITY – Scot Coulson finds time and space in the Jets penalty area, but his cross-shot is parried away by Jets keeper Bon Scott.

33’ – CHANCE FOR JETS – Alex Janovsky’s shot is tipped over the bar by City keeper Tim Allen.

35’ – CHANCE FOR CITY – Jets keeper Bon Scott spills the ball, under pressure from Koh Satake who finds Mitchell Hore, unmarked, eight yards out but he shoots wide of an empty net.

37’ – GOAL FOR JETS – Jordan Farina floats a high free-kick to the far post where Matt Byrne heads home from six yards.

49’ – GOAL FOR CITY – City break fast down their right and a low cross into the six yard box is converted by Koh Satake under pressure from the Jets defence.

What They Said

“Definitely two points lost, particularly here at home. Having said that I thought we played better football than we have in the last few weeks, but credit to City who defended well. While I look at it as two points lost, it is still very congested and a win here or there will push us back in.” – Dave Harris, Moreton Bay United FC coach.
