Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Round 5 Draw

Six PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clubs from the Brisbane zone have discovered their first opponents in this year’s Westfield FFA Cup.
The fixtures for the Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Round 5 were determined at a live draw today at Westfield Garden City shopping centre.
Joining the six national second tier PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clubs in the Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Round 5 are ten clubs from Football Brisbane community competitions.
Two clubs from the Brisbane zone will ultimately advance to the national Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32, which sees the entry of Hyundai A-League clubs into the competition.
Moreton Bay United, Olympic FC and Brisbane City secured hosting rights for their fixtures, while Brisbane Strikers, Western Pride and Redlands United will cede home ground advantage to commence their respective campaigns.
Defending PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Champions Moreton Bay United host third-tier Flight Centre Premier League outfit Capalaba FC.
Brisbane City will seek their first ever Westfield FFA Cup win against near-neighbours Mitchelton FC, who also compete in the third tier.
While Olympic FC, who reached the Round of 32 in 2014, will welcome fourth-tier Capital League One side Moggill FC.
The away fixtures will see two-time Round of 32 qualifiers Strikers make the short hop across the river to face in form Flight Centre Premier League outfit Eastern Suburbs FC.
Ipswich-based Western Pride will also face a tough test when they travel to take on current Flight Centre Premier League leaders Lions FC, who reached the Round of 16 last season.
While Redlands United will face the longest away trip for any of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues in the Brisbane zone when they travel to four-tier Pine Rivers United.
Also in Round 5 are Flight Centre Premier Leagues clubs Rochedale Rovers and Ipswich Knights, fourth tier Southside Eagles and fifth-tier Acacia Ridge FC.
Fixture dates, kick-off times and venues will be announced once confirmed.
