Peninsula Power Women secured their first three points of the season – dominating an understrength Redlands United Women to run out commanding 5-0 winners at Cleveland Showgrounds.

Victoria Brebner netted a first-half brace, with Jessica Eccles, Brittany Waugh and Grace Duroux also adding to the visitor’s haul.

The result ends a three match winless streak for the Moreton Bay-based Power and marks a first win for new coach Michael Cook in PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Women’s competition.

It also consigns Redlands United to bottom of the table heading into the Easter break as the sole team without a competition point after the opening four rounds of the season.

80’ – GOAL FOR POWER – Grace Duroux sees her shot bounce down off the crossbar and across the line to put the result beyond doubt

86’ – INJURY FOR REDLANDS – Megan Byriel remains defiant to smother two late chances for Power but aggravates a previous ankle knock and is substituted
