Brisbane City have strengthened their options in the attacking third with the capture of former Brisbane Roar Youth attacking midfielder Mitchell Hore.

Hore, 19, is a product of Queensland Academy of Sport and made headlines last season with a league record six goal haul for Young Roar against Western Pride.

He comes into the City squad after Koh Satake was placed on the long-term injury list this week after suffering a stress fracture in his toe.

The move sees Hore reunite with former teammates Luke Pavlou and Samuel Sibatuara in John Kosmina's City squad.

Hore boasts 38 PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues appearances in total for both Young Roar and QAS since 2013 – scoring 12 goals.

He was released by Young Roar prior to the current season despite figuring prominently throughout the summer's Foxtel National Youth League's campaign and is expected to make his debut for City this weekend off the bench in Toowoomba against SWQ Thunder.
