Sunshine Coast FC’s British visa players Connor Hancock and Glody Ntumba have arrived and are ready to excite in PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland 2016.

Defender Hancock, 18, and attacker Glody, 19, offer a new direction for Fire, who opted to draw on the club's connections in Japan to source visa players in recent seasons.

The duo commenced training with Fire on Monday as the club prepares to recapture the success it achieved in dominating the former Queensland State League.

Hancock previously played for Stockport County FC in England’s National League North and said he can't wait to test himself against Queensland's best footballers.

“Training has been great, it makes me really excited to start the season,” he said.

Hancock also explained he is settling in well and has already been indulging in the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.

“Everyone’s been showing me around and the beaches over here are unbelievable,” he said.

Ntumba, who played last season in the development squad of highly regarded Italian Serie A club Genoa CFC, said he will also be making the most of his time in Australia and is ready for the season ahead.

“I’m going to try to fit in as much as I can while I’m here because there’s so much to see and do on the Coast” he said.

Fire coach Paul Arnison said the pair's arrival is another step as he continues to prepare his squad for the season ahead.

“We have a lot of new additions to the team this year so we’ve just been working on getting everyone to come together as a team,” Arnison said.

“Connor and Glody are good additions to the group and they have the experience behind them to push the team up,” he concluded.
