Returning Moreton Bay United stars Jackson Hall and Jordan Farina have their sights set on back-to-back titles in PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland 2016.

The attacking midfield duo are amongst a raft of confirmed re-signings for the defending PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Champions to be unveiled in coming weeks.

Farina, 23, shone brightly in his second season with the club last season, notching 20 PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland appearances and delivering eight goals – including the match-winning strike in Jets’ Grand Final triumph over Brisbane Strikers.

Hall, 21, was also an ever-present force for Jets in his first season with the club with 21 league appearances and three goals to his tally.

Both agreed that the lure of becoming the first club to achieve back-to-back success in Queensland’s elite club competition was an important factor in pledging another year to Jets.

“The ambition of the club and the chance to win more silverware is the main reason I wanted to stay,” Farina explained.

“We’ve lost a fair few players that were critical in our success this year but we’ve signed and re-signed some really good players as well.”

“I think we have the best chance out of any of the previous winners to go back-to-back.”

With the majority of Jets’ rivals heavily engaged in off-season recruitment as well, Hall acknowledged it will be no easy task for Jets to maintain their standing as the competition’s top dog.

“They say the hardest thing isn’t to win the league it’s to follow it up the next year and win it again,” Hall said.

“Looking around (at other clubs), a lot of players are heading from Brisbane Premier League to the NPL clubs – the league is getting better every year and that’s going to make it tougher.”

In addition to his team's aims, Hall has also set his sights on adding to his career tally of seven PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland goals scored for both Jets and previous club Strikers.

“This year I will again be pushing to play well week-in and week-out but also looking to get more goals to my name so I can get noticed a bit more,” he concluded.
