As previously advised (and subsequently posted on Facebook) this year’s AGM is to be held at The Spitfire pub in King’s Hill – I have booked the ‘Observatory’, which is a private room on the top floor of the building.
The room is available from 7.30pm, but please can you all try to arrive by 7.45 pm so we can ensure a prompt start at 8 p.m. See here for directions: Find us | The Spitfire | West Malling Pubs | Shepherd Neame
It will also save us a bit of time on the evening if you can make time to review the other attachments sent separately by email, ahead of the AGM. Table of attachments set out below:

Entry form for 2017-18
Please bring along a completed version to the AGM, so we can understand what teams you wish to enter for next season’s leagues. Entry fees will not be required on the night – we will need to confirm how much these will be at the AGM.

Rule Changes
(a) Proposed minor changes (for the purpose of wider clarity) to KCVA Rule 4, plus amendment to the wording of Penalties to apply for a breach of Rule 4. The only changes are on pages 1 and 5.
(b) Proposal concerning Match Officials for Premier division and Ladies divisions for 2017-18 and the award of bonus points to clubs for compliance with Rules 7 (c) and (d)
(c) the suggestion to introduce an additional division between the Premier and Foundation Leagues, as submitted by Rainham VC.
(d) A proposal that female players should not be permitted to play in the Mens Divisions (except under limited circumstances as set out in the proposal)
These proposals will be considered by the AGM and voted upon. Proxy / postal / email votes will not be accepted – if a club wishes to exercise its right to vote on the proposals, it must attend the AGM to cast its votes (1 vote per club representative present, maximum 2 votes per club).

Code of Conduct for the KCVA Foundation League. This is not a proposal to be voted on at the AGM, but is a reminder of how the KCVA Committee expects the Foundation League to operate, including participation of non-Foundation players.

As ever, please remember that KCVA Rules require that each Club must be represented at the AGM. Ideally, we would like each Team to be represented.
If there is anybody who wishes to raise a specific Agenda item or proposal for consideration at the AGM please let me know as soon as possible, in writing.
I look forward to seeing you all on 20th July.
