Izzy Miotti Re-signs for 2023!

The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the return of forward Izzy Miotti for the 2023 NBL1 West season.

Izzy, a former Perth Lynx has been working tirelessly during the off-season to get back on the court post injury. Izzy is a versatile player who can crash the glass and defend through multiple positions. With her high motor and exceptional work ethic, she is sure to make an impact which we look forward to watching in action this NBL1 season!

Izzy had this to say about her signing:

“I’ve never been more excited for anything ever. I’ve missed my teammates immensely. The WBA staff, fans and competition too. I’ve worked hard to be able to play this season and can’t wait to win basketball games with the Wolfpack again.”

Head Coach Marcus Wong had this to say about the signing:

Izzy was out at most of our games last season, and you could tell by the end of the season that she was itching to get back into it. I know she has been working really hard since she injured herself and I think we will see Izzy back to her best very soon. She is so athletic, a great rebounder and can find ways to get to the rim with the flexibility to defend inside or on the perimeter. Izzy will be a huge addition to the squad and will add some toughness to us at the defensive end.”

Izzy will be joining teammates Robbi Ryan, Tia Ucich, Teige Morrell, Shani Amos, Nes’eya Parker-Williams, Chelsea Belcher, Akim Lual and Laniesha Paddon and Tia Ucich in the 2023 NBL1 season.
