Rangers appear to be the clear favorites to take out the three points, with 9 wins and just one loss and one draw from their 11 league games so far. Bell Park, on the other hand, is in 5th spot and a massive 13 points behind Rangers on the table.

Last time the two teams met, Rangers ran out emphatic 12-0 winners at Myers Reserve.

But before that, on Saturday afternoon at Torquay’s Banyul Warri Reserve, bottom of the table Surf Coast will host 3rd placed Barwon SC.

Barwon has won just one of its last five games and drawn two while one game was a BYE.

It is set to be another tough fixture for the Coasters, as they have lost their last five games and have only won one game so far this campaign.

In the final match of the round, 6th placed Kardinia College will host 2nd placed Deakin Ducks in the ‘Battle of the Students’ at its Bell Post Hill campus.

Kardinia has won one and drawn one in its last five fixtures, while the in form Deakin has won its last three games and have secured second spot on the table going in the process.

The Ducks also have a game in hand on the team below it, third placed Barwon SC.

Drysdale will be forced to sit out this round with a BYE.
