NOTICE: Lara United seeking coaches for 2017 season

LARA United is seeking expressions of interest to fill a variety of coaching positions for the 2017 season at the progressive northern suburbs based club. With a strong focus on coach development in areas from Miniroos through juniors, Lara United is looking at ways to empower their coaches to get the best out of them and in turn the best from their playing groups.

If you feel that you have a passion for coaching or would love to participate more with your child’s, brother or sisters development, please express your interest. For those that may feel that they require some assistance in developing their skills as coaches, we will be offering coach the coach training sessions before the season begins, to give you the foundation skills and awareness of how to run a training sessions and get the best out of your players.

We will also look at other opportunities like assisting coaches by sending them to FFV coach’s courses.

On top of that we are setting up a coaching committee headed by our senior coaches, both C licensed coaches will act as a focal points and hold regular meetings to assist in driving coach development, along with assisting in setting up programs to run in both the off season and during the season for player development.

In an effort to plan for 2017 season we would like for an expression of interest from those whom would like to take up a role coaching next year. We are looking for women, men and youth of all ages and experience to express their interest for the following;

Under 7 Boys              Under 9 Boys              Under 11 Boys                        Under 12 Boys

Under 7 Girls               Under 9 Girls               Under 11 Girls             Under 12 Girls

Expressions of interest for senior Men’s and Women’s assistant coaches, and Senior Mens state league Reserves coach.

This role is to support our head coaches with their coaching needs, act as an understudy gaining experience and exposure to senior football and assist with drills and game day activities.

Expressions of interest for a specialised goal keeper coach, this role would look at developing all of the goal keepers at the club, through dedicated goalkeeper training sessions.

Expression of interest for Under 15 Girls and Boys / Under 17 Boys

One of the clubs strong focuses for the upcoming season is coach development for all sections. As a result of this strong focus the club will be assisting coaches obtain coaching certificates and we will be seeking out two individuals to take up roles with our u17 boys and u15 girls that would be willing and enthusiastic about completing a Youth C’ License, or have already completed a Youth C License.

If you are a coach currently, and have been thinking about taking the next step as a coach and would like a pathway to kick along your coaching career, Lara United may be able to assist you. Over the 2017 season we will be looking at engaging the service of a C License youth coach to assist with the development of our juniors.
