NEWS: Rangers to host special ‘Play for Pink’ breast cancer awareness round on Saturday

GEELONG Rangers Soccer Club, along with its major sponsor VIVA Energy, will be hosting a special breast cancer awareness round this coming Saturday, the 16th of June.

To be known as the Rangers Play for Pink event, the Bell Post Hill based club wants to stress this is not a Ladies’ Day – it is a club event. All men and women are invited to attend the event at the club’s Myers Reserve complex on Saturday.

Please show your support and purchase a ticket for the day. The cost of tickets are just $30 each. Finger food will be provided and there will be a special gift for all tickets purchased.

“Enjoy the raffles, the auctions and watch both our senior Men and Women in action on the day. The World Cup game against France will be played at 8pm, we will be playing it on the big screen after the event. Bring the family and enjoy a day a night out!” is the message from event organisers.

Anyone interested in supporting the event or purchasing tickets, please contact club president Kylie Chapman on 0432 208 478.
