NEWS: Nominate your Club’s hero for Viva Energy's Club Legend Award
PLAYER or volunteer, young or old, the people who freely give their time and energy to mentor, help and inspire those around them make local Geelong based sporting clubs great. Now your unsung heroes and clubs can be recognised with up to $5,000 in prize money each from Viva Energy Geelong Refinery.
The Viva Energy Geelong Refinery is proud to announce the Club Legend Award for the greatest role models at sporting clubs within the Greater Geelong region. As well as recognition, the Club Legend Award winner will receive $5,000. Runner-up will receive $2,000 and up to twenty finalists will each receive $1,000.
In addition, clubs of all winners will receive the same amounts.
There will also be a People’s Choice award of $2,000. This will be a chance for the people of Geelong to have their say once the finalists are announced.
With total prize money exceeding $50,000 the Viva Energy Geelong Refinery really is strengthening our ongoing commitment to our local community.
All winners will be honoured at the Club Legend Awards Dinner hosted by Viva Energy at Simonds Stadium on 16 October, 2017.
