IN MEMORIAM: Vale Gero Bolic (1955-2017)
THE Corio Soccer Club with deep sadness announced over the weekend that much loved and legendary club volunteer, member and former player Gero Bolic had passed away last Friday in his sleep at the age of 62 years.
Gero spent countless hours at the club with setting up and cooking the BBQ for home games and training nights, opening and cleaning the changerooms, setting up the grounds for club games, linesman for both the Reserve teams and Sunday teams and several other duties.
Gero was also a former player and made life for all supporters and players more enjoyable on and off the field.
Gero you will be sadly missed particularly by everyone at the club who enjoyed having a beer with you during games, after games and after Thursday night training sessions.
You can never replace a great supporter and volunteer like yourself at any club.
Our deepest sympathy from all at Corio Soccer Club to his family and friends.
