NEWS: Take football up in 2017 and grow the game locally!
IT'S THE beautiful game. The most popular team game in Australia. It's the world game. Football is a phenomenon. Hundreds of millions of people across the globe live and breathe it, playing it with their friends and watching their heroes.
In Geelong alone, over the past two years, the increase in player participation in football has hit a 27% growth rate, an increase that dwarfs both the state and national growth rates! At last count, just over 3,700 players are playing the sport locally
But don't be content to just watch it. Lace up your boots and get your foot on the ball to take part in perhaps the most easily accessible sport there is - and in the process, let's get 4,000 Geelongians playing the sport in 2017!
