GEELONG region’s newest club, FC Leopold, is running three free junior soccer clinics for children aged 4-13 in November and early December so that children from the community are able to get a taste of what playing soccer for FC Leopold will be like.

Leopold Primary School has been kind enough to allow the fledgling new club, which will eventually be based at the Estuary Estate Reserve in Leopold, to run the clinic on the oval at the school.

Children will be split into different age groups (U/7, U/10 and U/13) and will participate in multiple fun activities on the day.

There will be a BBQ on the day and drinks available for purchase.

According to club president Mitchell Vials, organisers are keen to get an idea as to the numbers expected on the day, so as to be able to cater adequately for all the expected children who will turn up.

“For those who have children they plan on bringing along to our first junior clinic can you please let us know, advising how many children will likely be taking part in the session and also their ages,” he explained.

“We are after this info to ensure we have sufficient coaches on board to effectively run the sessions. If you are interested in helping out during the session (coaching, assisting coaches or in another way) please contact us,” Vials added.
