NOTICE: FFV to release GRFC 'final fixtures' on Friday 1st April

WHILST league structures for the GRFC Men's, Women's and Juniors' league competitions were provisionally confirmed and fixtures generated almost a fortnight ago, clubs continue to add and withdraw teams previously entered from existing leagues. As such, the FFV will be releasing 'final fixtures' on Friday 1st of April...

The withdrawal of teams from leagues is beyond our control and requires the mandatory re-structuring of affected leagues and consequent fixture changes. It also requires us to re-visit previous fixture change requests affected by ongoing team withdrawals.

As always, we are trying to minimise the affect of team withdrawals on remaining teams by accepting late league change requests and late team entries (at our discretion) where to do so will minimise league structure and fixture disruption.

As noted above, updated fixtures for all leagues will be released by C.O.B Friday 1 April. We are endeavouring to have Rounds 1-3 of those fixtures finalised and clash free by that deadline.

We will also endeavour to have remaining rounds clash free before the season starts on the weekend of 9-10 April, but our ability to do so will, to a large extent, be affected by Clubs continuing to withdraw teams past the original deadline of 21 March 2016.
