NOTICE: TRIAL INFORMATION - North Geelong FC announces 2016 SAP info for Junior Boys
NORTH Geelong Warriors FC, in association with Football Federation Victoria, is pleased to announce details of its 2016 SKILL ACQUISTITION PROGRAM (SAP).
The Skill Acquisition Program, colloquially known as the SAP, has been a staple in the development of Australia’s most talented youth since its inception in 2010.
The SAP is directed at nurturing players, aged 10 & 11 years old, with the four fundamental skills of football; striking the ball, first touch, one vs one (1v1) and running with the ball.
In total, there will be 36 sessions held over the course of 18 weeks. The cost of the program will be $10 per session for a total cost of $360, which includes all the sessions, participation kit and attendance to three SAP Gala days held in varying locations around Victoria.
The North Geelong SAP course for 2016 is open to all boys born in 2005 and 2006.
Coaching and co-ordinating the program will be the North Geelong Warriors’ Technical Director, Igor Srbinovski, along with 2015 SAP coach and former Warriors’ TD Josip Zilic.
Trials will take place on Monday 21st and Thursday 24th of March at Elcho Park (Gibbons Road, Lara) with both sessions commencing at 5 pm.
