Pride Community Day 2022

On Saturday, August 6th the team headed down to the Montreal Pride Community Day to show our pride and support for the LGBTQ+ community and recruit some new players to the league. Not only did we get to meet thousands of people and hand out hundreds of flyers about the league we also got to do some impromptu footy lessons teachings passers-by how to hand pass.

The event had over 100 kiosks from various community and corporate groups and tens of thousands of visitors from Montreal and beyond.

We were absolutely heartbroken to hear that the Pride Parade had been canceled. But are very glad we at least got to show a little bit of our Pride.
