At the Micronesia Games in Palau, two outstanding swimming performances have dominated the first night of finals.
Debra Daniel from the Federated States of Micronesia's Pohnpei
bagged three individual gold medals - the 100 metres backstroke, 100
metres butterfly, and the 200 metres Individual medley.
Eli Wong from the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas did the same in the mens' events.
Wong won the 200 individual medley, the 100 metres butterfly and the 200 breast stroke.
Eli Wong says he's chasing more gold medals.
"We are trying to go after a many gold medals as we can. I have
about twelve more races to go over the next two days. So just enjoy the
competition and do our best."
