Basketball Northern Territory is excited to announce the launch of their High Performance Development programs for 2021-22.  We are now looking for interested Coaches to be part of our coaching team, commencing with assistance at trials in October 2021.

There are opportunities for developing Coaches to be involved in any or all of the sessions relating to the following programs:

• U18 Boys Territory Performance Program (TPP)
• U18 Girls Territory Performance Program (TPP)
• U16 Boys Territory Development Program (TDP)
• U16 Girls Territory Development Program (TDP)

Previous experience in the High Performance Program or with NT teams is NOT necessary to be considered for a program Network Coach position.  All involvement in sessions will be matched with coaching experience and signigicant on court leadership is provided throughout the duration of the program which runs from October – April for the U18 program and October – June for the U16 program.

All Network coach roles are volunteer positions, however, Basketball NT will provide a polo shirt for all Coaches that commit to the program and significant free coach development opportunities will be extended to Coaches who commit to this program.

Coaches looking for Northern Territory team coaching opportunities in 2022 will be required to have involvement in the 2021-22 TPP and/or TDP.  This involvement will provide Coaches with an opportunity to observe and experience the implementation of the Northern Territory Style of Play.
