Marketing & Content Coordinator
AFL Canada is looking for a driven, detail oriented Content Creator to produce high quality output to deliver on its strategic marketing plan.
The Marketing Content Coordinator will update existing material, generate new content and source content relevant to the strategic plan. The candidate should also be able to contribute to the shaping of AFL Canada’s brand and stylistic guidelines.
Marketing & Content Coordinator Responsibilities:

Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for AFL Canada website including news articles.

Creation of content including short and long form videos for use on AFL Canada’s various social media platforms.

Spearheading the design of promotional materials. Particular emphasis on business to business promotions with sponsorship in mind.

Assist in development and roll-out of 12 month social media plan

Liaise with AFL Canada clubs to curate media content bank (video, images, news articles)

Review current AFL Canada website and make recommendations to streamline and update.

Collaborating with current marketing volunteers as well as the Development Manager to further establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

Monitoring social media and company website metrics and provide reports.

Suggesting new ways to promote the organisation offerings and to further reach the AFL Canada community.
Marketing Content Coordinator Requirements:

A bachelor's degree (or current enrollment) in a marketing, or related field.

Experience creating strong, engaging content.

Excellent video editing skills.

Experience working with a CMS

Experience managing social media and online communities
-
A portfolio of applicable outputs.

Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.

Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.

Strong listening and communication skills.

The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.

Position Details:

Fully remote part-time position

15-20 hours per week (flexible)

$15.70 per hour (Ontario based)

Reports to AFL Canada’s Development Manager

Contract length = December 16, 2020 - February 10, 2021
