Motorcycling, like most sports, relies heavily on the input of volunteers to ensure that race meetings and events continue to run efficiently. One of the best ways to get up close to the action is to get involved as a volunteer official.
Motorcycle Clubs and Promoters are continually looking for enthusiastic individuals wanting to help out with the running of events and becoming a licenced official is one way you can assist our sport and your club.
There are many benefits associated with becoming an official:
-
The opportunity to get up close to the action on race day (no one, apart from the riders gets closer);
-
The satisfaction of participating as an integral part of an exciting and dynamic sport;
-
Making a positive and worthwhile contribution to the sport of motorcycling;
-
The opportunity to follow an established pathway to higher levels of accreditation and the possibility of working as an official at National and International events.
-
The camaraderie of meeting and working with other licenced officials, riders and motorcycling enthusiasts;
-
and of course, free entry to Motorcycle events.
