Gettin Jiggy With Hoops

For the next ten weeks, students from the Northern Territory's Department of Education's Malak Re-engagement Centre will participate in the "Gettin Jiggy With Hoops Program". The program is another off shoot of Hoops 4 Health and will engage young people and develop their skills and knowledge to plan and run an event with the major focus on the upcoming 2013 Hoops 4 Health Challenge.

The students will also contribute and coach at smaller school based activities run under the Hoops 4 Health banner. They (the young people) will work alongside Hoops 4 Health mentors to faciliate the Hoops 4 Health Challenge in Darwin and they will also co-facilitate Hoops 4 Health Programs in primary schools in the Northern Suburbs of Darwin during the 4th term.

The Hoops 4 Health Challenge will be held on the 31st October in Darwin.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
