Wilson A Rising Star
South Australian Junior Alex Wilson is a rising star. She joined the Hoops 4 Health Team on Sunday and has played a major role in the team's wins over the NT, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia.
Still only 16 years of age, she plays well above her years. Alex has been part of the Adelaide Lightning's WNBL training Squad fo the past year. Two years ago she helped the South Australian Country Team to the National Under 16 Grand Final and a silver medal. During these National Tournaments she played against current team mates, Mishy Friel, Jaylene Bonson and Justine Schmidt.
The Murray Bridge product plays well above her years and had 19 points and 23 points against New Caledonia and Papua New Guinea yesterday.
