Black Hoop Queens set to play Exhibition games
As part of the build up for Afrobasket 2011 in Mali which is just days away, the Womens National Team the Black Hoop Queens are now set to start their series of exhition game to competitevely prepare them for the task ahead.
The Exhibition Games Series will begin tomorrow 14th September 2011 at the University of Ghana against the very popular Tudu Galaxy U18 Girls Team at 4pm. The Black Hoop Queens will for the first time face the challenge of playing as team during official camp begun a week ago. Featuring in the exhibition games will be seven of the players who played in the qualification games against Cote D'ivoire last year November. Also playing will be Ghana's foreign based player from Canada Naa Sheka who joined camp two weeks ago.
The Tudud Galaxy U18 Girls Team are from the Galaxy Basketball Academy which is based in Tudu Accra at the Lebanon House Basketball Court a famous basketball venue in Ghana. This game will be the first of a two game series between the Black Hoop Queens and Tudu Galaxy U18. Second game will be played tomorrow at 4pm at the University of Ghana Legon.
