USA COACHES INTERVIEWED ON GHANA TELEVISION

On wednesday 16th December Brad Lane and Bill Butter who are currently in Ghana working with the GBBA in a three week young players and coaches clinic were interviewed on the show "RUN DOWN" on the TV Africa television station on wednesday evening after Day2 of the young players clinic.

The host of the show Yaw Sakyi who is also the organizer of the senior high school sprite ball basketball tournament asked  questions concerning Brad and Bill's mission to Ghana and their basketball experience with young coaches and players in Ghana after been in Ghana for almost two weeks. Brad and Bill spoke about how they found out about Ghana basketball through a volunteer programme run Real Gap Experience in collaboration with the Ghana Basketball Association in partnership with the Right to Dream Sports Academy in Ghana.

Bill and Brad also spoke a little bit about their experiences as players and coaches in the USA. Brad spoke about some of the flaws in the fundamental skills of most of the young players they have seen in Ghana. Both of them spoke about the great enthusiasm they had seen young players, and coaches have for the game of basketball. They commended rite multimedia for the organization of the senior high school sprite basketball championship which is headed by the presenter of the show Yaw Sakyi. They ended by announcing the launching of the official website of the Ghana Basketball Association which will be stocked with all the basketball information shared during their three week basketball clinic in Ghana with videos and pictures of the clinic.
