YOUNG COACHES & PLAYERS CLINIC
The Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) the governing body for basketball in Ghana in December partnered with basketball groups across the country to organise a three week basketball clinic programme for coaches and players across the country.
The programme is an initiative of the GBBA which is been directored by the National Technical and Development Manager of the GBBA Mr. Iddrisu Gamel. The three week programme is beign organised in partnership with other sporting organisations in the country. The programme will be hosting some coaches from abroad who will be conducting the training programme.The main objective of the clinic is to introduce young coaches and players to the techniques and fundamentals of basketball.
Partners include Dynasty Basketball Association,Right To Dream/Gap Sport Abroad, D'elite Club and gamsMultib Services. The three programme is as follows 9th - 11th Young Coaches Clinic Venue: ICGC Basketball Court Mataheko,12th - 13th Young Coaches & Players Clinic Takoradi,15th - 18th Young Players Clinic U18/U16 Boys & Girls Venue: ICGC Basketball Court Mataheko, 21st - 24th Mini Basketball Clinic U12 Boys & Girls Venue: ICGC Basketball Court. Attendance to the programme is by inviation but intersted coaches and players who will to witness the programme are invited to come watch and also learn.People in the western and capecoast area who would want to attend the programme should contact Mr. Ebo on 0244663631.
