Cougars 67 (S Stafford 22, B Ousey 18, J Hollitt 11) def Bulldogs Red 57 (D Reid 16, Sam Lock 11, Shaun Lock 9)

The Cougars continued their early season good form in a low scoring affair with the Bulldogs Red, Sam Stafford led the way with his season high of 22 points. Young gun Duncan Reid and the Lock brothers did their best to keep their side in it however simply could not generate enough points to really challenge the Cougars.

Panthers 80 (K Rodis 22, B Rathjen 18, J Walker 13) def Bulldogs Blue 66 (S Berkefeld 27, J Jenner 15, B Young 13)

The Panthers continued their winning ways remaining undefeated with a 14 point victory over the Bulldogs Blue. Simon Berkefeld led all scorers with 27 points for the Bulldogs, getting his points from inside and out showing why he is still a force in the competition. Without leader Kyle Tipene the Panthers found other scoring avenues with Kurt Rodis (22) and Brad Rathjen (18) doing their bit to cover the absence of Kyle.

Cats 102 (E Burdon 25, J Murphy 22, K Bradley 21) def Roos 86 (T Daly 32, M Bachmann 20, D Bachmann 9)

The Cats downed the Roos in Millicent behind the sharp shooting of new recruit Erik Burdon. The Cats becoming one of the premier offenses in the competition with the ability to hurt opponents from the perimeter as well as inside. Tom Daly had 32 points for the Roos and was well supported by Mark Bachmann with 20, however the Roos could not stop the potent attack of the Cats.

Panthers 67 (J Jones 19, T Bryant 18, A Duncan 10, E Hunter 10) def Bulldogs Roos 56 (C Hunter 18, S Adams 13, E Bouchier 10)

The Panthers notched up their first win of the season with an 11 point victory over the Bulldog/Roos. Joey Jones led all scorers with 19 points and Tara Bryant had 18 on the back of six three pointers for the Panthers. Claire Hunter had five three pointers of her own, but it was not enough to keep her side in the contest.

Cougars 59 (K Ousey 28, M Horrigan 11, C Horrigan 9) def Saints 57 (J Howe 21, L Schultz 12, M Pulmer 12)

A game full of runs went down to the wire between the Cougars and Saints. The Cougars started on an 18 – 0 run before the Saints got going to take the lead 18 – 20. Keryl Ousey had a massive game for the Cougars with 28 points and was well supported my Mikaela Horrigan (11). Jasmin Howe worked hard on both ends finishing with 21 points of her own however it the Cougars made the right plays at the right time to finish on top of this contest.
