Redbacks Ruckman wins 2021 Feeny medal
Wedderburn Redbacks Ruckman and NCFL Inter League Captain Jordan Hargreaves has won the 2021
JJ Feeny Medal.
Jordan polled 16 votes to score the leagues highest individual award to win by just one vote over Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers Wade Donnan who has taken out the Keith Chalmers award in the last two seasons.
jack Ryan from BWFC took out the reserves and SLNT Thomas Cox won the under 16's award.

A Statement from the NCFL Board – 10th September 2021
The NCFL Board in consultation with NCNA & NCHA has made the decision to cancel the 2021 season without any finals being played.
With Covid restrictions not being lifted to allow competition sport to be played before September 23 the Board was unfortunately left with no other option than to call time on the 2021 season

Alterations to NCFL Finals for 2021
Due to restrictions being imposed in Melbourne no players from the restricted areas are allowed to travel into regional Victoria and this will effect teams with Melbourne based players fielding their best team.
The Board of the NCFL have pushed the start of the finals back to allow those players to be available if the restrictions are lifted.
Regardless our finals are now set to start on Sept. 4th

2021 NCFL Fixture
The North Central Football Leagues 2021 season is set to start on April 10th 2021.
Inter league is fixtured into the seasons draw on May 15th but if a suitable opposition cannot be found then May 15th will become a General Bye for all clubs. There are two other General Byes in this years draw.
The Grand Final is due to be played on September 11th 2021. To view the fixture

Charlton's Mitchel Gleeson Wins 2019 Feeny Medal
Charlton ruckman Mitch Gleeson has taken out the J.J. Feeny Medal as the Best & Fairest player in the North Central Football League.
Gleeson polled 19 votes to defeat teammate Tom Finlay and Wade Donnan from Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers who collected 17 votes.
Wedderburn Redbacks Andrew Brett won his fourth reserve grade B & F.
Hayden Geddes from Donald won the u16's Jeff Guild Award with 25 votes

The Board of the North Central Football League has allocated finals to the following clubs.
1st Semi-final at Birchip 24th August, second semi-final at Wedderburn 31st August, Preliminary final at Boort 7th September and the Grand Final will be played at St Arnaud on September 14th
Entry fee first 3 finals $12.00 Grand Final $ 15.00

Goldacres North Central Football League Club Reunion s
On July 29th there will be two clubs holding reunions in the league, Birchip-Watchem will hold a reunion for the 20 year amalgamation of the Birchip and Watchem Football Clubs.
Also on his day Wedderburn will be holding a reunion of their 2007 premiership their first premiership win for 37 years when they broke the drought defeating Charlton at Donald, more news in coming weeks from both clubs.

2016 Feeny Medal Winner
Boort Football Clubs Champion Ruckman James Orr has taken out the 2016 JJ Feeny Medal. Orr who has had a brilliant season with the Boort Magpies polled 29 votes to win the Goldacres North Central Footballs highest award. James won the award from Charlton Coach Aaron Walklate who finished eleven votes behind the winner.
Well Done James who has indicated that he will stay a magpie in 2017

FEENY MEDAL GUEST SPEAKER
North Central Football League has secured Carlton Assistant Coach Dale Amos as their guest speaker for the Feeny Medal Vote Count on Wednesday 31st August to be held at the Wedderburn Memorial Hall starting at 6.30 pm for 7.00pm. The league is pleased that Dale is available to be our Guest to pass on his journey involved in our great game.
Tickets available through your club at $25 includes meal.

North Central Football League 2016 season
The new look North Central Football League kicks off their eight team competition on April 16th 2016. The North Central has Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers Football Netball club join the league. The Tigers previously played in the now disband Mallee Football League. Clubs will play sixteen games and has two byes rostered throughout the season.
Boort are the only club yet to announce their senior coach.

Wycheproof-Narraport 50 Year Celebrations
Wycheproof and Narraport Football Clubs will conduct fifty year celebrations of the two clubs amalgamation in 1964.
The celebrations will run from 6th June through to the 8th June 2014 and anyone wishing to gain further details can go to

The amalgamation of these to clubs would have one of the best records in country football, playing in 27 Grand Finals for 17 wins.
