2019 SA Inter-Service Tournament
The SA Defence Basketball (SADB) Inter-Service Tournament was held over the period 15-16 Aug 19 at RAAF Edinburgh. A strong six team competition, was represented by two Air Force teams, battling against Navy, and Army teams from Woodside, Keswick & Edinburgh respectively.
This year the tournament was mixed, with no separate female competition.
The final was won by Army Edinburgh 60-54 versus Air Force.
Pleasingly, the tournament revealed new players who will make a valuable contribution to ADF Basketball and the increased participation demonstrates the continued growth of Defence Basketball in SA.
The Tournament MVP was SGT Hong Le, captain of the Air Force 92WG/JEWOSU team which placed 4th.

The 2019 ADF Basketball Association (ADFBA) National Championships will be held at RAAF Laverton over period 22 Nov to 01 Dec 19.
