Dynasty Basketball Association(DBA) in its mission to develop and create opportunities for young people through basketball has finally initiated the Dynasty Heart Project.

Dynasty's Heart is DBA's social responsibility programme focused on extending Dynasty's developmental programmes to various communities across the country of Ghana. The mission is to impact the lives of the young people who live in these communities by using basketball as a vehicle to guide and inspire them to achieving success in life in the areas of academics, character building, and sports. What makes this project more exciting and interesting is the active participation of other young people in the implementation process.

Dynasty's Heart  will be headed by Project Director Elvis Jones Davordzi who will be supported by members of the Dynasty Ambassador and Dynasty Volunteer programme. The service of these individuals is on volunteer bases. These two supporting programmes will play active role in achieving the goals of Dynasty's Heart. This will help in sustaining the various projects in the area of human resource. Dynasty's Heart will include activities such as basketball clinics, community service, facility development, and human resource development. 

Dynasty's Heart will establish an afterschool and weekend basketball-life skills developmental programme in every community it picks to impact. This will be one of the main ways of continuing the impact in the lives of the young people living within the communities benefiting from this project. Dynasty's Heart will be targetting young people living within both rural and urban communities in Ghana.

Dynasty's Heart starts its first project on the 8th of August 2012 with a one day basketball clinic for kids from ages 9yrs to 14years at OrphanaidAfrica community center located at Ayikuma in the Eastern Region. Kids will benefit from basketball skills training, life-skilss training, team building games, and academic guidance. After this Dynasty will make a donation of some basketball balls and rims. Local coaches will be trained and guided under DBA to continue with the basketball and life-skills training on and off the basketball court. Various individuals from the Dynasty Ambassadors and Volunter programmes will volunteer their time and efforts periodically throughout the year to coach and teach at OrphanaidAfrica visit www.oafrica.org to know more about Orphanaid Africa.
