WELL DONE - Coach Bressow leads her state team to a silver medal

Deaf Basketball Australia would like to warmly congratulate Janelle Bressow, womens head coach, for securing a 2nd placing for her under 16 Queensland South team at the recently concluded under 16 Australian Junior Championships in Geelong, Victoria.

Deaf Basketball Australia President, Bryn Davies took a keen interest in Janelle's team and their journey during the tournament and was pleased to see Janelle coach her team to victory in several close games and take out second placing after the pool games, and getting set for the finals. Her team won through to the gold medal game where they came up against the only team they had lost to in the pool games, SA Metro - however her team were not able to avenge defeat and succumbed to their second loss in several games over the course of the week, taking out the silver medal.

On behalf of Deaf Basketball Australia, congratulations to Janelle and her talented and dedicated team of girls!
