RESULTS - Goannas beaten in first match by Russia
Goannas 35 vs Russia 86
The Goanna's were beaten 86 to 35 by the Russian Federation this evening. After a promising start with scores tied 18 all at quarter time the Russian Federation powered away with much taller, physical and experienced players. There were some encouraging performances by some of the Goanna's. Coach Lance Wright felt there were some positives from the game by the young Goannas.
