Dear All Stars members and families,

With the re-introduction of Stage 3 restrictions, all basketball activities have ceased for six weeks and the Collingwood College stadium is closed. The latest announcement from Basketball Victoria is available here.
 
There have been some significant announcements regarding competitions:

• The EDJBA (Saturday domestic competition) has announced that the Winter season has been cancelled
• Basketball Victoria has announced that the VJBL (Friday night rep) and Big V seasons have been cancelled.
 
In addition:

• All beginner, development and All Abilities programs have been postponed
• Senior domestic competition has been postponed.
 
We know this is disappointing news for many, however the health and safety of the community is of utmost importance.
 
We will be in touch with members regarding fees paid for competitions and programs.
 
Manny Hendrix will resume the Instagram Live skills sessions next week. Watch out for details of these sessions and other activities that players can do to keep up their skills and fitness during lockdown by following us on Facebook ( www.facebook.com/CASBasketball ) and Instagram @collingwoodallstars
 
I would like to thank all of our loyal members, coaches, volunteers and staff for their patience, understanding and support over the past few months.
 
During this next six weeks please stay safe and connected – hopefully we will be able to resume basketball activities in some format in late August.
