Riley Meldrum attends Australian development camp
The Warriors would like to acknowledge our guy Riley Meldrum for his acheivement of being invited to and attending the Australian development camp at the AIS in January. Riley added another amazing experiance to his long list and continued doing what he does best with Australia's best!
High Performance Manager David Ingham is with our six SA athletes Ben Carter, Anyang Garang, Riley Meldrum, Hannah Hank, Kelsey Rees, and Gabby Vidmar at the 2017 Australian Development Camp (ADC) held at Basketball Australia's Centre of Excellence.
The ADC offers players an opportunity to learn under the top coaches in the country in an effort to identify future Australian Boomers and Opals, as well as assess potential scholarship holders for the Centre of Excellence.
The athletes were coached through physical and shooting tests, sessions on court as well as recovery and nutrition sessions, green and gold scrimmages and finally individual feedback meetings. The ADC offers players an opportunity to learn under the top coaches in the country in an effort to identify future Australian Boomers and Opals, as well as assess potential scholarship holders for the Centre of Excellence.
