Competition Ladder's and Finals Series

Competition points for games scheduled are allocated on the following basis:
 
*Win      3 points
*Draw    2 points
*Loss     1 point
*Bye      2 points
 
*Notified Forfeit                   0 points. (Forfeiting Team, displayed on ladders as FG)
*Notified Double Forfeit        0 points (Both Teams)
*Un-notified Forfeit              minus 3 points
*Disqualification                  0 points
 
 
In the event of two or more teams being tied on points at the end of the qualifying round, eligibility to compete in the finals shall be determined in the following order:
 
13.3       The team with the lesser number of forfeits, disqualifications and other infringements of the rules;
13.4       The head to head ratio of wins and losses between the teams concerned;
13.5       If still equal, the head to head percentage of points for and against between the teams concerned;
13.6       If still equal, the overall percentage of points for and against between all teams in the grade.
 
 
Finals Series shall consist of semi-finals, preliminary finals and grand finals, using the following format:
 
Semi-Finals
 
Semi-Final 1           -    1 v 2           (winner straight to Grandfinal Berth, Looser to advance)
Semi-Final 2           -    3 v 4           (Winner to advance)
 
Preliminary Finals
 
Semi-Final 1 Looser v Semi-Final 2 Winner
 
Grand Finals
 
Winner Semi-Final 1 v Winner Preliminary Final
 
Teams are required to pay a $30 fee for each Final game PRIOR to taking the court, this covers the cost of Court Hire and Referee's as it is not charged at the beginning of the season. This fee is covered by the ABA for the Grand Final Games.
