VIDEO: Catching up with team Palau

The Oceania Team welcome was a great opportunity to catch up with members of team Palau. I spoke to them about their feeling towards the games and about how they have settled in to the athletes village.

Also at the Oceania welcome the teams flag bearer was announced. The Palauan flag bearer will be Rodman Teltull and he spoke about how he feels privileged to be given the great experience. He spoke about what he will be wearing as he will be following in the footsteps of his ancestors, wearing similar ceremonial clothing to that of Prince Lee Boo. The son of the High Chief Ibedul, who travelled back to England with Captain Wilson and thus creating a link between England and Palau that is still present today.
