PNOC Celebrates Sports People

The Palau NOC and Members Sports Federations celebrated and recognized sports people at the Annual Sports Award Banquet on 9th April 2010 at the Palau Pacific Resort. The recipients for the Annual Sports Award at the NOC National level are: Athletes of the Year - Femaile: Ms. Osisang Chilton of Swimming, Male of the Year is Stevic Patris of Weightlifting, Coach of the Year is Mr. Carson Olgeriil of Athletics , Volunteer of the Year is Grace Kishigawa, Photographer and Media Special Aard went to Peter of Island Times, Sponsor of the Year is Palau Pacific Resort and WCTC as the Corporate Sponsor of the Year. The Technical Official of the Year went to Jubilee Kuartei of Basketball program. The Palau NOC IOC Award for 2010 entitled Sport and Anit Doping went to the Senate, Congress of Palau for passing the WADA convention last year. The Palau National Olympic Committee and All Sports Federation had the opportunity to also acknowledge each National Federations receipients in various categories of sports awards.
