Shooting is becoming and increasingly popular sport throughout the Pacific and at these 2006 Commonwealth Games, the largest ever contingent from the Islands will take part.
Norfolk Island take part in three events today:
The Men's 50m Pistol Pairs today represented by Brian Check and Graham Cock.
The Men's Trap Pairs represented by Milton Bradley who carried the flag for Norfolk at the opening ceremony and willuse the event to tune up for the individual event later in the week.
The Women's 25m Pairs Pistol represented by Jac Grundy and Denise Reeves.
Fiji are represented by Glenn Kable and Errol Somalu in the Men's Trap Pairs.
Niue are represented by Sione Toganivalu and Isaia Talagi in the Men's Trap Pairs.
All in all an exciting day of shooting expected today...
