Four Gippsland Clubs Join Youth Girls Competition

AFL Victoria is pleased to announce this year’s Gippsland Youth Girls competition will begin on Sunday June 23. This year, local clubs will manage the teams, providing girls with coaches, training and uniforms. Girls will be an integral part of these clubs just like the boys who are playing in their other junior teams.

AFL Victoria is very excited about the coming season and the new opportunities that these clubs will bring to girls wanting to play football across Gippsland.

The full fixture will be released over the coming weekend, however games will be scheduled to minimise travel but will also provide clubs with the opportunity to play home games regularly.

Any girls aged 13-18 who are interested in playing should contact their local club.
