VLine Cup Youth Girls Team of The Carnival Announced

As tradition befits, the Team of the Carnival has been announced for the 2012 V/Line Cup.

Representatives from all 18 teams are represented in the Team of the 2012 Carnival, along with the field, boundary and goal umpires who impressed with their performances over the Cup.

21 VCFL clubs were represented in the selections including two players from Mt Clear JFC, Red Cliffs JFC and Sale FNC.

This year, a Youth Girls Team of the Carnival has also been announced with members from the four teams competing available for selection.

Steven Reaper, CEO of the WorkSafe VCFL, congratulated the boys and girls on their selection,

“This is a great recognition for the hard work and fair play of these players during the 2012 Carnival. I am sure that in years to come we will be saying on AFL draft night…’I remember him from the 2012 Carnival’.”

Reaper again congratulated all players and team support staff for their commitment to junior development over the 2012 V/Line Carnival.

“We hope that all players take their experiences of the 2012 V/Line Cup back home, and can be a positive influence at their home club for the home and away season and beyond.”, said Reaper.
